Hey y'all, this is Rick.
We're gonna do a new bike for the Allstate Insurance company.
It's gonna be really cool, and I thought it'd be
kind of a neat thing if I took y'all through the process
of getting started and that kind of thing.
But as I can see now, the real cameras are here,
so I'll cut this off and we'll go get started. Come on!
Once is not enough to look. There's motorcycles everywhere,
and if you just kind of glance in your mirror on the side
or glance in that mirror, that may not be enough, you know.
A motorcycle is smaller, and it can be in your blind spot.
Turn around and look and see if there's somebody behind you or beside you.
So I think what Allstate is doing is a great thing,
and I applaud them for that.
They're spending lots of money trying to promote motorcycle awareness,
and they've asked me to help them do that,
and we're gonna help them do that and we're gonna build
the coolest bike you've ever seen.
Obviously they want my style bike. That's why they asked me to do it.
And I think we take one of those pan frames, with the double tubes,
we do a big motor in there and a big fat rear tire and no fenders
and a psychedelic paint job, and you just kind of make it
something that really draws attention to Allstate's booth.
They want a Rick Fairless psychedelic paint job.
Multicolored, tie-dyed, psychedelic, and that's what I specialize in,
so that's perfect for what we're doing.
I like the way the base colors came out.
Yeah, I think they came out real bold, real colorful.
Well, you've done my stuff for so any years, you know what I want.
You knew, like when I came in yesterday and they had it going a different way,
and I didn't like it, you knew I wasn't gonna like it.
Yes sir.
So we redid it, and this is what I'm talking about. This is it.
So do you have some of the artwork done that we talked about?
Yeah, got a few things.
Show me.
Did a sketch of the guitar. This is my weeping guitar.
Got just some cool '60s psychedelic patterns. Got these little flower patterns,
some swirl patterns, got a couple of the sayings that Allstate wants.
Once is Never Enough.
Once is Never Enough. We did it in kind of bellbottom style lettering.
Right. What do you think we put that show side?
Exactly what I'm thinking. Show side, just kind of -- I made it to where
it kind of swirls around the gas hole.
Watch for motorcycles. Nobody protects riders better than Allstate.
Once is Never Enough. That's the only thing pointing to insurance
that they want on there, so we put that "Once is Never Enough" here.
That's the main campaign. O-N-E. Once is Never Enough.
I knew I wanted to do a pan frame with the two 4-inch tubes
because I think that's a beautiful bike and makes a great stance.
And I was hoping that Allstate would allow me to do one of my
signature tie-dyed paint jobs, and they did.
As far as the tie-dyed themes and all that, that's Rick.
That's a Rick Fairless deal. You can't get -- if someone else does that,
they're copying Rick Fairless. That's the way I see that.
As usual, my guys brought my vision to life, and I rode her today
for the first time, and she rides good, she looks good.
We're taking her to Daytona, where we're gonna debut her,
and we're very proud of this bike.
