IT STARTED IN A RURAL AREA BUT
EVENTUALLY TRACKED
OVER THE INTERSTATE LEAVING A
16-MILE TRAIL OF DEATH

MOST OF THE HOMES AND BUSINESSES
THAT WERE
DESTROYED HAVE BEEN REBUILT BUT
THERE ARE STILL HOMES LIKE THIS
ONE OFF ROUTE 66 THAT SIT
VACANT THIS WAS PART OF
SOMEONE'S
GARAGE DOOR RIPPED OFF BY THE
TORANDO AND
WRAPPED AROUND THIS FENCE AND
IT SITS HERE AS IF THE TORNADO
WAS YESTERDAY.

FOUR STORMS CHASERS AND FOUR
OTHERS DIED
WHEN THE TORNADO TOSSED THEIR
CARS.

VALLEY TECHNOLOGY CENTER.. ALL
TOOK A DIRECT HIT. 13:58:18 the
roof was
gone - there was heavy water
damage 13:58:19
DAMAGE AT THE INDIAN HEALTH
CENTER FORCED
IT TO SHUT.
13:57:20 today is a day of
anticipation a day of joy and
excitement 13:57:22 ONE YEAR
LATER - - THE HEALTH
CENTER IS CELEBRATING REOPENING.
