The Clumsy Magician

Hi guys, I'm back again today with another effect. Er, this is an original effect, called "The Clumsy Magician." Now, this is not the most imaginative title, however I guess it'll do. If anyone has any other suggestions though, just put it in the comments or send me a Direct Message but otherwise that's the name I've decided. Now... I shall just be using a standard deck of blue bikes. Nothing special or strange about them. Blah blah blah blah... Let's get on with the effect. So, the deck can be shuffled and given a few cuts. Then the spectator chooses two cards... Let's say this one And this one. So the two cards are the eight of clubs and the queen of clubs. Now let's place the queen here for the moment Which leaves us with the eight. Now I'll place the eight on top. (Pause) Actually, why don't we lose the eight somewhere in the centre, like so. Give the cards a few cuts until we have lost the eight as much as possible into the centre. Now seeing as we've lost the eight somewhere in the middle All we have to lose now is the queen. So we lose the queen like this... Then we square up the cards. So now that we've got both of the cards lost (THUD) Lost in the centre all we have to do is find (THUD) them again... Well... We do have two cards here and those two cards are The selected cards; the eight of clubs and the queen of clubs. So, an original effect, no gaffs, no gimmicks...
