What's The Difference between Asian And African Elephants?

Elephants are the largest animals on land. They can grow up to four meters high This elephants must be a male elephant because he is all alone Male elephants leave their mommies when they are 15 years old And then they live alone A male elephant is called a bull A female elephant is called a cow And they are extremely protecitve of their babies Close one hey Remember a female elephant is a cow A family of elephants is called a herd. It's all females except for the young bulls The oldest cow is the leader of the herd Elephants can get up to 70 years old and they have excellent memory The African elephant is the biggest elephant Just look at those big ears They flap their ears to cool themselves down. They are called the African Elephant Not only because they live in Africa, but because their ear looks like the African map If an elephant makes a sound We say it trumpets That was so scary Let's go visit the Asian elephants They live in Asia and are much smaller than the African elephant Look at their small ears! Elephants really love food and we're gonna feed them bananas now Elephants are plant eaters. We call them herbivores The elephant uses its trunk for many things They use their trunk to breathe and to pick up things and to smell things They just love bananas This looks just like a finger The Asian elephant has one but the African elephant has two Did you know the African elephant has tusks but the Asian elephant has no tusks Lesson of the day A female elephant is a cow and the male elephant is a bull Thank you.
