Hi I'm Dr. Cy Smith, Superintendent at Mansfield Christian school and perhaps
you're considering a Christian school for your child but thinking to yourself,
you know it's just too expensive I'm not sure we can afford it.
If you're at all considering a Christian school especially Mansfield Christian, I
would challenge that
thinking ask you to consider a few important points concerning the cost of
Christian education.
What exactly is the tuition at Mansfield Christian School? Well the range is certainly
between 5,000 and 6,000
depending on lower elementary versus the high school so those are some basic
numbers to consider that you might be looking at.
But private schools even at this level just like colleges
and other advanced private institutions offer
financial aid or what we call tuition assistance.
The program that we use is called
FACTS, FACTS, Facts grant and aid or Facts tuition management company.
And we have all the information about FACTS online and what families do is they go
to our website
again MCSFLAMES.ORG and they find out the information on FACTS and
they fill out the form and they apply for tuition assistance.
And at Mansfield Christian all the tuition assistance is need based
the more you need the more you get. And we award scholarships
from our central office based on what you need in order to make it work for
your particular family.
We also solicit donors for these kinds of services. Many families like to give
to the school for scholarships to help families
in need. So those are two immediate and important ways
that you can certainly receive tuition assistance or financial aid.
Also there's a number of discounts There's discounts for
timely payment of your registration fees. There's also
discounts for paid in full. So there's other ways that you can just again save
money right on top.
Then there's also the Scrip program that we run. It's a completely separate program
based on
gift cards or buying gift certificates through the school and families receive a
percentage back
off their tuition, goes right towards their tuition. So a number of families will
come in in advance of their child even going here
and start to receive or start to bank credit for their children's tuition and
some families that are really diligent
can earn as much as fifty percent of their tuition by using Scrip
faithfully and diligently and banking that for tuition credit. So that's a great
program I would encourage you
to certainly look into. You know regardless that the incentives and the
discounts this again is really about investing in your child
long-term. How important are those values
in your home and is it important enough to start making those sacrifices perhaps
to send your child to a Christian school? Is the home and the church enough
or will you need again some help to make sure your child shares
your values? You and I both know as parents that
time just goes too quickly and all too soon your children
even if they're young are going to be grown, gone, and out of your house and
they're are going to be making some important life decisions.
On what basis will they be making those decisions? Do they have all the training
and the teaching that they need
to make those decisions from God's perspective in the way that you hope
they make them?
And perhaps a Christian school can help you make sure
and can help you do that. So again if you're thinking it's too
expensive I would challenge you to at least look into
Mansfield Christian School.
Confirm this by completing the registration the
application forms and we'd love to talk with you about this
and try to make sure that this is possible for you and your family. Thank you.
