WWE News- Big Show reveals when he'll be back in WWE
Big Show is one of the most beloved superstars in the WWE today, but unfortunately for the fans, he is coming near to the end of his wrestling career and he is widely expected to retire once his current contract with the WWE expires.
The Worlds Largest Athlete has not been seen on WWE TV since he had a steel cage match with Braun Strowman on the September 4 episode of Monday Night Raw.
He was attacked by The Monster Among Men after the match and throw through the side of the steel cage.
Big Show had to be assisted to the back after the incident, but this spot was done to write him off TV for a while so that he could have hip surgery, which was successful and he has been preparing to return to WWE ever since.
During a recent interview with Uproxx, The Greatest Giant of All Time spoke about several wrestling topics including when we can expect to see him back in the ring in the WWE. In his answer, he was very optimistic.
Big Show said he hopes to be back in the WWE soon, while also explaining the surgery which he had done on his hip in September last year.
He said: “Hopefully soon. I had some hip surgery at the end of September, which has been fantastic for me.
It’s what they call hip resurfacing, now I gotta nice shiny titanium joint that’s really smooth, and more range of motion, it’s even stronger. I’m just following my physical rehab protocol right now, and making sure all that’s strong and healed up.
I gotta give it a few months for the metal to grow into the bone so to speak, so it becomes a more solid unit, then hopefully first of the year I’ll be back of action.
”The best time which WWE could bring back the Big Show in the next month is, of course, at the Royal Rumble on January 28 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia as he can be used as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match.
His current deal with the WWE expires in February, and it has been rumored that he plans on retiring from in-ring wrestling soon, so hopefully, the two sides can work something out to allow him to have his last match at WrestleMania 34 if retirement is on the cards.
He deserves a great send off after what he has done for the WWE over the years.
