Olivia: Hey, stranger. I didn't hear from you yesterday. I assumed you were too busy to hold my hand while I got released. Dante: Never too busy for you. You look good. Olivia: A little slower than I'd like to be but Dr Drake said that's perfectly normal. Dante: I got the, uh, car waiting out front. Olivia: What's wrong with you? Dante: I can't even get in the door without your antenna goin' up? Olivia: Just answer the question. Dante: Uh, Lulu broke up with me. Maxie: Have you been here all night? Lulu: I couldn't sleep. Maxie: Okay, well. I'll make some coffee while you get ready. And don't forget your eye concealer. Lulu: Okay. Uh, I can't work today. So can you just call Kate and cover for me, please? Maxie: While you stay home and wallow in your own misery all day? Lulu: I haven't really thought that far yet. Maxie: Lulu, okay. I know that Dante left you and you're sure that you can't trust him anymore. But if you're this heartbroken, don't you think you made a mistake? Terrell: You are fine, Dr Niles. Lisa: Okay, someone could see us. Terrell: We'll be discreet. Lisa: No, no, no. You can't have me until you have Robin. Terrell: You know. Lisa: Mm-hmm? Terrell: Seducing a married woman takes time. Um, I just wanted to let you know That I got all of the information on the fertility reconstruction. [General Hospital Theme] Robin: The stupid garage door got stuck again And I couldn't figure out how to put it on manual And when I finally figured it out and I got on the road, traffic was stopped. I tried to call you on my cell but my battery was dead. Patrick: It's all right. Robin: Sorry. Robin: I was supposed to consult on your new patient. Patrick: One of those days. Patrick: Yeah, but we can do it after lunch. Robin: Okay. Good. Thanks. Patrick: Okay. Robin: Deep breath. Terrell: What part of town do you live in? Robin: Um, out past Cherry Creek. Terrell: Well that explains the traffic. There was a semi that was jack-knifed on the highway. Robin: Is that what it was? Terrell: I'm surprised you got here as fast as you did. Patrick: You know what I'll come by after work and fix the garage for you. Robin: Um, that's okay. I can handle it. I should get used to doing things on my own. Steve: Hey. Elizabeth: Hey. Well Lulu found out there was more to it than that. Olivia: How much more are we talking about here? Maxie: This has to stop. He's been lying to me for months. He's been covering up feelings for Brenda. Maxie: Okay, so he has a crush on Brenda. It's not like he's gonna act on it. Lulu: I actually thought that he was gonna be the one. Maxie: Well maybe he is the one. I mean, I always thought you guys were great together And I consider myself a tough critic. Lulu: You're not even listening to me. Lies and betrayal aside-- I cannot be with a man who's half in love with another woman. Shawn: You're bringing me here? Theo: Well, special circumstances. Sam: Well, between me and you, Spinelli's kind of been slacking off a little bit at work. But you know, I mean, I get it. He's been busy with all the wedding plans. Jason: Yeah, or with the book that he's writing. Sam: What? Jason: Don't ask. Sam: Uh-uh. No way. You think I'm letting that one go? What do you mean Spinelli's writing a novel? Jason: It's 'The Secret Life of Damien Spinelli' And supposedly we're all in it. You, me, Carly, even the Quartermaines. Sam: Oh, did you read it? Jason: No. Spinelli's guarding it with his life. Sam: Oh, come on Jason. I am sure you are going to be the ultimate action hero. You're gonna be strong and brave. Tracy: Can't I invite my granddaughter over for lunch Just for the pleasure of seeing her? Brook Lynn: Uh, no. That's not your style. Look, I know you have something to say so why don't we just get this over with? Tracy: Just for the record I do enjoy your company. Brook Lynn: Yeah, I'm waiting. Tracy: I want you to quit your job as Nikolas' companion. Brook Lynn: Ah. See? There it is. No. Brook Lynn: What? You can't just lump Nikolas in with the rest of them. Tracy: The Cassadines are psychopaths. Tracy: Why not? Brook Lynn: Well because he has a good heart. Okay, so he can be moody and he can be dark but I've been there too. And in his defense he can be-- He can be warm and charming and he treats me very well, so. Tracy: You're in love with him? Brook Lynn: I'm just trying to say I don't think I have to get off the gravy train. Tracy: That's all it is? Brook Lynn: Yeah, I have great perks and plus I'm not gonna leave him Vulnerable to that Elizabeth. Tracy: Well aside from being a little too fertile I've never heard a bad word about her. Brook Lynn: Well then you're not paying attention. Elizabeth is a manipulative ***. I'm sorry, she just-- she is. She didn't care about Nikolas. She didn't want Nikolas until she realised, oh wait-- She can't get her claws into Lucky so now she comes running around I mean at all hours, with lame excuses and that smile and the [imitating Elizabeth] Oh hi, Nikolas. Tracy: She's the mother of his child. Brook Lynn: Yeah, and she's playing it for all it's worth. Look if it were about the baby, then fine, okay, I get that. But it's not. Tracy: Surely you can expose her without having to live at Wyndemere. Brook Lynn: No, I like living there. And I like my job. And... I mean, well, you got the guy that you want, so... Why can't I? [Tracy laughs] Tracy: You're not comparing Nikolas to Luke, are you? Brook Lynn: I'm saying that you got to follow your bliss, okay? You got to follow your bliss. Why can't I do that? Tracy: Okay. Maya: Uh, I've been pretty slammed. Oh shoot! The deposit for the new apartment. I forgot to drop it off. Ethan: Yeah, I know. I just went to the landlord to pick up the keys and he said You never dropped off the check so he rented the place to someone else. Maya: Oh God. That's too bad I really liked that place. Ethan: Ha. No, you know, I think you don't want to find a new place. Because you like living at the Quartermaines'. Maya: Okay, what? Are you kidding? Between Tracy yelling at Luke and then Monica screaming at them And Alice shouting back? I couldn't get out of that place fast enough. Ethan: Hmm. Well, that proves it. Maya: Proves what? Ethan: You just complained about everybody Except your dear old lonely great-granddad Edward. You've come to love him and you can't bear to leave. Dante: I did have feelings for Brenda but nothing ever happened. Olivia: Well, so you explained that to Lulu? Dante: It doesn't matter. I lied to her too many times, ma. First I tell her that I didn't even know who Brenda was. Then she finds out that I guarded her in New York. Then I tell her it was just a job. She finds out we knew each other well. Olivia: How well? Dante: It's not like it was some big love affair. Olivia: Okay, but still. I guess I can see how Lulu would feel a little bit betrayed. Dante: All right, so, how do I get her back? How do I get her to trust me? Olivia: Oh honey. Times like this I really wish that I had more experience with relationships But I never got married... You're the only thing that mattered to me the whole time when you were growing up. Certainly more than any man that came along. But-- But the one thing that I always know is true When you are having a misunderstanding with someone that you care about You always put yourself in their shoes first. Ask yourself how you would feel if you were them. Dante: If I were Lulu, I don't know that I could ever trust me again. But I'm not gonna let her go. I love her too much. Olivia: So you gotta fight for her. Honey, you are a wonderful man. I know that, and Lulu, she knows that in her heart. Dante: I hope so. Hey. You ready to go? Olivia: Uh.
