Hey guys. So if you happened to be in London over the past few months, you might have seen
my face showing up around the capital on bus adverts and in newspapers.
That's all because I had the chance to be selected to be one of the students representing
London South Bank University this year. As part of that marketing campaign, I’m going
to be making videos of myself talking about my experiences as an international student
and as a student at London South Bank University.
So, I'm a French multimedia journalism student. My name is Souleyman and I moved to the UK
four years ago. I first moved to Bristol for a year and I was just planning on having a
gap year not doing anything and partying every day for a year and then going back to my home
country.
I did do that, but I never came back. I started studying in London and I will never regret
my experience. I have the chance to experiment with video, photography, designing websites,
designing magazines, radio podcasts and all sorts of great things.
Talking about London South Bank University, I think it is one of the best universities
in the UK. You have great staff, all greatly experienced and really helpful. If you need
anything about your work or if you need someone to help you with getting something done, they
will help you as much as they can.
Talking about the location of London South Bank University, you literally are fifteen
minutes' walk from the London Eye and from Big Ben, which is one of the best locations
in London I bet.
If you happen to be an international student and you’re planning on studying in London,
I know you must be scared thinking you must be one of the only non-British people in the
class and in the country in general. That won't be the case, you're going to meet so
many international people, some great people from all over the world, and you'll have a
great experience.
So if you’re looking for somewhere exciting to study, trust me; London South Bank University
won't deceive you.
See you next month, bye bye.
