Monogram Stamps—a Personal Touch

(Monica) Hi! I’m Monica from Close To My Heart. Today I want to show you a new line of our My Acrylix® stamp sets called monogram stamp sets. These special stamp sets are just $2.95 each — such a great deal! — and they are the perfect size for all sorts of art pieces. In fact, these single stamp sets are so versatile that you can use them for more than just a stamp on the back of a letter! I’ll show you what I mean. Let’s look at this adorable blue tote. Here you can see the monogram. I’ve stamped it on a 1 1/4" circle. You can use a Cricut® or a circle punch. Close To My Heart does sell the circle punch and that’s my preferred way of doing crisp, clean circles. We also have these really beautiful cards. You can see here the monogram’s been stamped. We used a dark cardstock, black in particular, and then used Colonial White embossing powder on that to make the negative space come out. This one here is stamped direct. You can see that’s what it looks like when it’s stamped direct. So these are really, really fun ways of using the monogram stamps. We also have this beautiful layout and here you can see down at the bottom of this layout, I’ve made my own background and texture paper by using the monogram stamp. So let me show you how I did this technique with the monogram stamp. I’ve got my letter B right here. So I’ve stamped one and I’m going to ink and stamp another right next to it. And this helps me to line it up center. So you can see, right there. And that’s how I’ve done the monogram background and texture paper on my layout. Also, you don’t have to just do monograms. You can collect all of the monogram stamps and make titles. Look at this really cute adorable frame and here I’ve got the word “Happy” and you can do that with all of the monograms.
