alright in this video I am going to show you how to go in and work with the close captioned
transcripts in YouTube
once your file has been uploaded to YouTube what you can do is go to your
video manager from here
or you can go to your
navigation arrow and go to Video Manager from here
and at this point I'm gonna go into my practice YouTube file
so I'm going to click on that
in the bottom of the video it's gonna start playing some I turn this off
and me bottom of the video you're gonna go into the
closed captions
and when you do that you'll see an option on the right hand side of
English on automatic captions click on that and you'll see the text to comes up
that went along with your video it's actually tried to transcribe what you
said
now it's not going to be perfect so I would recommend that you go in
and make some changes to this end and fix it up a little bit and once you go
in and change something obviously right here
I'm gonna say
go ahead and upload
obviously this is wrong to so I have to listen to the video at different
times
and fix it and then when you're all done you just have to hit done
now also if you want to
I am going to go ahead and hit done I can go back into it again
now once I've got this set up perfectly I could also download the transcript
and set that up as a file in my course
so if the students would like to
have it printed out in front of them or they can show the closed captions on the
screen when they go to watch the video
and that's how you go when and make changes to your
you're close captioned
