On behalf of Expert Village, this is Dan Kelly with Keller Williams Realty here in Miami
Shores, Florida. I'm with the Kelly White Team, and today we're going to tell you how
to buy a house. Okay, now we're at the residential sale and purchase contract. This is a big
thick contract that looks a little intimidating, but it really isn't. All it's asking is the
sale and purchase price. Your realtor's going to fill all out for you. All you're going
to have to do is sign on the dotted line. What it is is your purchases price, it's going
to talk about your deposit. It's going to talk about your financing, which we're going
to get to in a later clip. We're going to talk about the address, the folio number,
the legal description, a lot of legal what-not, but your realtor's going to go over it with
you. This contract is basically here to protect you. It's to protect your buyer against unforeseen
things happening like the inspection not coming back or the deposits being returned to you
if those inspections don't turn out. So all it is it's really here. This is your friend.
This is here to protect you so your realtor will go over. It's about 12 pages, but he'll
go over it with you if you have any questions. If you're a first time buyer, read it. A lot
of people just sign, sign, sign. Read it because you can educate yourself.
