- The Flying Fruit Fly Circus are here at the Sydney Opera House.
We're really excited to be here. At the moment, we're performing a new work.
It's a premiere of this work called Circus Under My Bed.
We'd been in full-time rehearsals for about five weeks before we got here.
It's just fantastic to finally be here and be in the theatre.
Our young artists are performing to full houses with this show,
which is just extraordinary.
And I feel like finally all their hard work and all the company's hard work
is paying off now we're in front of an audience.
- They're fantastic cos they pull it out when it comes to the show.
Their energy on stage is fantastic. They're pretty much
adult circus performers already and they're all so young.
- We're also running workshops for the young people of Sydney
to come and work with our young people and our trainers.
It's really lovely for me to watch these little, sweet children come in
and enjoy, I guess, the basics of circus,
but then it's also really lovely to see our young artists
interacting with young children.
- Highlight of the workshop was doing it
out in the actual street outside the Opera House.
- I think the funnest part was performing
because we all got to do it together and it was lots of fun.
- I remember performing at the Opera House a few years ago
and I couldn't believe we were there, you know?
So I think they're all a bit blown away by the fact that they are actually here.
- It's really exciting, actually. First show for me.
Like, big show. That's pretty exciting. Opera House.
- Performing at the Opera House has just been brilliant.
It's the go-to place in Australia for circus, theatre and all of that.
And it's just an amazing experience.
