Hello everyone, I'm Cariad from Oh Wow, Geek!
and this is another travel accessory unboxing / review / fingers crossed that it works, because I really don't know yet.
My problem is… this is a Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard mini attached to my iPad mini
and I usually - I know a lot of people are going to cringe at this - but I usually throw it in my bag when I'm going out
and the keyboard is suffering - the corners there, unfortunately
the iPad itself is great, no scratches - but the keyboard is getting a bit bashed around
so what I looked for in the Apple Store was a little sleeve I could throw it in to protect it
I picked up this, the Acme Made San Francisco Skinny Sleeve for iPad Mini
but what I don't actually know yet is - it's made for the iPad mini, yes
but will it fit with the keyboard attached to it?
I really, really hope so!
Let's find out!
It's a really nice kind of rubbery...
the packet says it's liquid resistant and stain resistant
What's it made out of? A innovative material exclusively from Acme Made that combines the stretch and sculpted fit of neoprene with the improved protection and stain resistance of its special waterproof coating.
So yeah, imagine neoprene/plastic/slightly rubbery.
Where everything goes… this is a little band, holds it all in place.
There's some kind of hard protection in here...
…okay, silica gel!
It's difficult to describe… this is kind of a soft back, but the front has some resistance to it, it's got some kind of card I guess to protect against knocks to the screen.
Let's see if the iPad mini plus the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard mini will fit inside this Acme Made Skinny Sleeve for iPad mini!
Perfect! Hah! I don't think you could get a tighter fit than that, that's really good, that's really comfortable.
There we go! So if anybody has the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard mini
and they want a sleeve to put it in
then the Acme Made San Francisco for/pour iPad Mini works perfectly!
Brilliant! That's a relief! That's not £25 thrown away!
I'll put a link in the description so you can get one of these sleeves for yourself - I'll put a link in for the keyboard as well, it's a really nice keyboard. This isn't going to be a review, but maybe one day I'll do one.
Thank you for watching, let me know what you think in the comments and on the blog at ohwowgeek.com - I'll see you later, bye!
