\f0\fs24 \cf0 How To Patch Drywall http://yourdallashandyman.com In this video I'll do a quick review on all
the issues
I had on just one wall of my garage. I had drywall holes of various sizes, dings and
even the bedding tape coming up in one corner. \
\ I try to show how to prep several types of
drywall holes and even show how I use a piece of trim wood to support the back and screw
in a new piece of drywall on medium to larger holes. I use 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" coarse thread
drywall screws for everything. \ \
I used light weight all-purpose drywall compound. The
down side to the lightweight stuff is
that it shrinks as it dries and you have to keep layering until it builds up
to the level you need. Since this was in my garage, I didn't have to worry too much about
making everything perfect. The techniques are still pretty much the same for any smooth
finish anyway so the overview I show here is is pretty much what I do for patching other
kinds of holes in drywall even on highly visible interior walls. \
\ Hope this helps!\
