I'm Erica Lutes, the education adviser for the Commission for Educational Exchange. This center is the only source in Belgium of complete, unbiased and accurate information about the full range of accredited higher education institutions and opportunities in the United States. The Commission's advising center is part of Education USA, the global network of more than four hundred and fifty information centers throughout the world. Our advising center offers information about undergraduate and graduate level studies, professional programs and intensive English courses. Our primary focus is higher education. Advice and information about undergraduate and graduate level studies in specialized fields is also available. In addition to maintaining a library of reference books we produce guidebooks that help prospective students understand the American higher education system and admission requirements, application procedures, and financial aids options. To assist students with their preparations, we supply registration bulletins and practice materials, as well as standardized tests. as well as writing guides for college essays. We also offer limited information about primary and secondary education, youth exchanges, English language programs, and even internships. Aside from the advising center we also offer scholarships to Belgian and European citizens ranging from five thousand to thirty five thousand US dollars for students pursuing a master's, Ph.D, or research in the US. We also offer scholarships in progress for journalists, teachers and other categories, certifications and translations of academic documents needed for admission applications that we provide at the center. Translations must be done beforehand, and we can certify these documents for two euros per page. Preparation materials and practice books for admissions are also available for loan. You can borrow a book for two weeks by giving us a twenty five euro deposit.
