Hey Lancers! I'm Sarah Hansen. It's Thursday, February the 13th, and PCC One starts
now!
PCC One. Campus news in a minute.
PCC One is brought to you Pasadena City College MESA. MESA. Building community to support
STEM success. MESA works!
Welcome to our holidays edition. That's right "holidays!" What happens when Valentine's Day
meets President's Day? One, epic episode. This. Is. Going to be. Epic!!!
We've got a lot going on, on campus. So, [Let's do it]
Wondering how to transfer? Well, from 12 to 1, in L-110, there will be a "How to Transfer" workshop.
How convenient is that? Later today at 2, our Soft-ballahs look to
get off their five game schneid against the Falcons of Cerritos College.
Let's talk Valentine's Day. Even though our campus will be closed, love will be in
the air...and water... Friday, at East LA College's Swim Stadium, in Monterey Park,
as both our Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Teams kick off their aquatic season
in the South Coast Conference Pentathlon and Relays. Speaking of Men and Women, no love
will be lost as both of our basketball teams take on the rival Mounties of Mt. Sac.
Women tip off at 5, the men at 7. Let's hope it's a Saint Valentine's Day massacre. Go Lancers!
Saturday, our Lady Lancers head to the 'nard for a double header against the 1-5 Oxnard
College Condors. Our Men's and Women's Diving Teams head back to the pool to compete
in the South Coast Conference Diving Preview at El Camino College in Torrance. The Triple
Lindy action starts at 2PM, don't miss it! Remember, Monday is President's Day, so
campus will still be closed. Four days off, and seven...I've got nothing. That's all
the news that's fit to stream. If you have any news items or announcements that you would
like shared, please submit your request to lancerlens@pasadena.edu.
You can follow us on Twitter @pcclancerlens. I'm Sarah Hansen, and we'll see you next Tuesday.
Have a great long weekend.
