Hi, and welcome back for another tip from PrintPlace.com.
This week is a special Easter edition for all you church marketers.
The Easter season is a
perfect time to get new
visitors to your church and reach out to the local community.
It's so easy to promote
online and miss opportunities to really engage people.
So here's a few creative ideas
to promote your Easter event and
involve your congregation at the same time.
Use door hangers in vivid
Easter colors to promote
a festival or family event. Include a
brief description with activities, date,
time and a simple map.
Then do an outreach event and have
your congregation, pass the door hangers out around the neighborhood.
Encourage them to engage and talk to people.
They'll be more likely come if they've already met a friendly face.
Another great way to engage
your congregation and promote your
Easter service are 3-up rack cards.
This rack card from Calvary Church
has a custom 9 x 2
inch trim with two custom perforation lines.
The effect is three business
card size pieces that your congregation can pass out.
Online and print promotion doesn't have to be separate.
I call this piece the Eastergram.
Order a 4 x 6
card and add a
4 x 5 inch custom trim
to create a Polaroid photo shape.
Then pass them out to your congregation to promote the Easter service.
On the back encourage people to
take photos of the service and
post them to Instagram with a custom hashtag.
You'll get a crowdsourced photo journal
of the service that reaches your
members' followers, who might not be familiar with your church.
That's all for this week.
