Gwyneth Paltrow And Chris Martin Announce Split after More than a Decade Together

Hollywood power couple Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have announced they've officially
split up after ten years of marriage.
The pair released an official statement through Gwyneth's website, saying: "It is with hearts
full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a
year, some of it together, some of it separate, to see what might have been possible between
us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much, we will remain separate."
Are we surprised? Well, not too much as Gwyneth has openly talked about the pair's marriage
troubles in the past.
The Iron Man actress has said in interviews the pair had to work on their marriage just
like any other couple.
Gwyneth and Coldplay frontman Chris tied the knot in 2003 after dating for just over a
year and have two children together; nine-year-old Apple and seven-year-old Moses. They say as
a family they are closer now than they have ever been.
