So if you wanted to dress up a little bit, what you would probably do, the first thing
would be a sweater set, which is like the cable knit that I showed you before but it
is two pieces. You also might try a nice blazer, now this blazer's made out of linen which
is another fabric that's really big in the prep world because it's great for the summer
and it keeps you nice and cool. But you'll notice it's a normal fit, it's not pulling
anywhere, it fits me well. It's in a muted red and its linen so the color works very
well for that sort of thing. But it's a nice blazer, it's not too flashy, it works really
well. If you wanted, this is probably the flashiest thing you could get away with and
still consider yourself a prep because it's argyle, which is another great pattern that
you see a lot in preppy culture. And you see this is a nice - it's a heavy knit, so it's
not a flimsy shirt. It is a halter top, but once again, fit is everything. If it's a halter
top but it fits you appropriately, it still counts as being preppy. And so, even something
like this under this jacket would be a nice sort of dressy top for a prep. Or any sort
of nice evening shell, or something like that. But you just want to keep the fabrics in mind,
it should be really good fabric. Linen is a very reliable fabric, a heavy knit, a silk
shell or something, because quality and fit is really everything.
