So from Tadasana, mountain pose in the passive form, we're going to come into the active
form of Tadasana, so pressing down into the feet; elongating. Taking a nice deep breath,
bringing that all the way up; the three-part inhale. Letting the arms float out to shoulder
height, relaxing the shoulders down from the ears, turning the palms up, continuing, with
another inhalation, to come all the way up. You can leave the arms like this, or you can
bring them into temple pose, and exhale. Relax the shoulders down from the ears, and begin
to breathe in three-part breath, preparing eventually to come into Ardha Chandrasana,
or half moon. But establish your mountain pose first; the first posture of the standing
postures.
