House Progressive Budget Makes Sense, Totally Ignored

absurd and represents the worst in government has no work no way of passing and um... just simply won't pass we now have another budget which is not the senate democratic plan which is really not exciting but it is the house progressive carcass budget and they're calling it the back to work budget this is really what we need to be looking at lewis it's not getting a lot of attention but it really should be and um... let's go through a little bit of what it contains here number one and and hopefully we can put this up uh... full screen for people uh... stimulus number one a stimulus at two point one trillion dollar stimulus now remember the paul ryan budget assumes a repeal of obama care not going to happen completely absurd counterproductive obama carers here obama care has already passed the supreme court um... a standard of constitutionality so on and so forth not productive two point one trillion dollar stimulus now how is that broken down in the back to work budget four hundred twenty five billion for infrastructure we need that we need that for the economy but we actually needed in other words a lot of bridges are overdue for maintenance we have a number of different infrastructure areas that need this money a middle-class tax cut that make sense cutting taxes for the rich is not going to stimulate the economy ready to save the money window classified in use the money in spending mhm make sense public works of public works project which we absolutely need four hundred and fifty billion there and uh... about a hundred and seven nine billion in state and local aid now what happens with that a lot of spending right what happens with taxes what happens with revenue the marginal tax rate on people making over a million dollars would increase to forty five percent now your first million you don't pay forty five percent write your first million is taxed at the tax rates that are below that anything over a million dollars he pay forty five percent federal marginal tax rate what if you make over a billion what we now have a tax bracket for that under this house progressive plan if you make over a billion in earnings not if you have a billion in the bank if you make over a billion in pertinent in your you've have forty nine percent marginal tax rate on everything over a billion between a million and a billion you pay forty five percent of course you first million is still the same as uh... for anybody else and then we've got some cuts we have nine hundred billion dollars in defense cuts we should not be cutting social programs willis shall be cutting programs for affordable housing education for for children can afford it we should be cutting the bloated defense budget we have i don't know how many bases at this point in germany maybe we'd be ok with ten last friday we would still be save a lot of money can be saved their younger missing now for a long time i'm glad it's it's finally on the table now this reduces the deficit over a ten-year period but i'm about to hear much about the same in the mainstream media which is not now even though the house progressive *** is has almost twice as many members as the tea party which is what the ryan budget basically ah... defense yes the public is not here but at least which is it is the again after go somewhere else and you know what i've been discussed it floating around on mainstream media at the coverage of these budget proposals we should really having a serious conversation about this on of course yeah while that's where we do it they go listen to you
