hi everyone, welcome to the new episode of NGS after reaching 10 episodes of our show we would like to show you a short documentary video about Captain Tsubasa (majid in Arabic version) so let's get started with our friend Mohammed before we get to the games who doesn't know about this so classic anime it brain washed a lot of people and it's still popular, even in these days it was the second fantasy soccer anime that showed in the Arabian media after The Red-blooded Eleven the Japanese name is Captain Tsubasa but we Arabs got used to the Arabian name most of the fans liked the first and the second session the third and the fourth one which is called in Arabic "Shabah" didn't got so much attention because the first arcs of the third session was just a remake story of the first session after that, it moved to the entire different story, but unfortunately, it didn't continue the fourth session which is called "Shabah" has a different story but it didn't got so much attentions that does not mean that both of them are bad but like we said, not many have watched them that's all about the anime let's move to our main topic, which is Captain Tsubasa games Captain Tsubasa series is very known in every Arabian gamer and it's very famous we will talk about the main series without digging into the side ones this series released only on Famicom and it's also known as Family in middle east there is a western release for this game and it's called Tecmo Cup with completely new characters and it's not related to Captain Tsubasa at all it didn't succeed in west at all probably because the game style was so weird for some western players let's forget about this version and let's talk about the real one this game uses a style called RPG Sport Captain Tsubasa is not the first game that uses this style of engine also Dodge Danpei on Famicom anyway, about this game this is how it works, you control the player with a ball in the field if you play the game for the first time you won't know the location of your opponent's Goal is it up? or below? anyway, it's always up when you press "B" you will get choices each direction of D-Pad gives you a choice, which are: Shoot, pass, keep going and cooperation passes while running, the opponents will pop up suddenly to get the ball from you it's randomly like the classic RPG games and you have choices of course which are: avoiding, single or cooperation passing and shooting the ball after that the opponent will try to get the ball from you and it depends on your luck there are some special abilities in this game such as special shots or special dodging and others if your opponent got the ball you have to wait until your players get in his way it's also depend on your luck when this happens, you got 4 choices which are: sliding, cut or block the ball, and doing nothing if the opponent shot the ball, your Goal Keeper have 2 choices which are: punching the ball or catching it some goal keepers have their own ability to catch the ball too these are the basic things you should know about this game and there is no need to dig deeper than that this game is easy to learn and its not complicated let's talk about the flaws as long as you don't know the Japanese it will be hard to discrimination between the players personally, we discovered that Tsubasa name starts with reversed C letter and Hyuga's name starts with a letter that similar to U after sometime you will remember the words and you will know the players well by the way, Hyuga means tiger... he is really a tiger !! the second flaw is: when you or your opponent gets the ball you will never know what you are going to face the only way to know the location of your opponent players is by choosing pass the ball and open the map, but it's not functional at all if your opponent got the ball, you will hope that your team members will get in his way eventually like I said, it depends on your luck, nothing more the third flaws is: the funny physics in some cutscenes when the players are trying to cut or block the ball, you will notice them sticking in the air except the ball that makes you think that they are playing on the moon or playing the space soccer anyway, the first game was acceptable back there , but now there is no reason to play it once again after the releasing of its squeals and we will talk about them now the second game was the most popular one among the series and most of us have started the series with it before the first one because it is so awesome, not to mention the popularity of the anime back there this game owns the first one in many things, such as the graphics and characters model are way much better also the physic was improved too and it makes sense now the game has a better story than the first one, not to mention the main issues were solved we got a wide map and you CAN see the other players in the map and that helps you to think of strategy while playing without depending on your luck you can avoid your opponents more easily and know which players are gonna get in your way if the opponent got the ball you can control one of your players to get to the opponent to get the ball from him you can switch between the players too you will still face the language problem but, there is a solution for it and do you want to know it? there is an Arabic release for this game that's right, there was an Arabic release of this game but the only way to get it is buying a Family Computer console that contains a lot of games in it a long with Captain Majid (Tsubasa) or buying a reproduction copy and finding this copy nowadays is super hard! because its very rare but now there is an another Arabic copy of this game with a different translation put it was released only in ROM file and they are games in files that you can play them through the emulators and you can find it easily though the internet and play it on your PC or even on any device that supports the emulators this as an idea for playing the game on your phone now! there is no physical copy of the Arabic version except the the first Arabic version but like we said, it's very very rare! finding it is not easy at all the sad thing is .. the second game of the series is the only one that got the official Arabic release anyway, about the game there is an easy password that makes you start playing with a completed Japanese team and you will have the most main characters it's really an awesome thing! you can play with the most loved characters in one team such as Tsubasa, Hyuga and many many others and most interesting thing is that your team will be the best in this game don't forget the awesome presentation and cutscenes while doing the special moves that's all about the second game, so let's move to the 16 bit games the third game was released on Super Famicom it's the first game that uses 16 bit graphics this game has a different story of course and new teams that you have to face and for the first time they replaced the password systems with saving features and that's way much better than the passwords system, because the Japanese letters are hard to remember even if you write the password down, you have to write it carefully but these days you can take a photo of the password by using the smartphones and guarantee that you won't type the wrong password anymore for the first time the All Star mode was added in this game and it's for exhibition matches you can play against the computer or the second player that's right, you can play the game with your friend but unfortunately, you will play with the main characters only all you do is dividing your team in two and play against each other it's better if they add some teams to play as along side with the original Japanese team anyway the third game is obliviously better than the second game the presentation and cutscenes are much better than before the menus also are much functional you won't regret it! the problem is that not many players have tried the third game because the Sega Genesis my dear friend, was in a huge competition againts the SNES so many players owned Sega Genesis only because it was an awesome console but it didn't get any single Captain Tsubasa game if you like the series and didn't play the third one buy it and you won't regret like I said it's better than the second one because of some improvements and that's all about the third game the forth game this is the best in the series and sadly there is no Arabic version for it so the player can see its awesomeness the forth one has also a different story from the others and there is not much improvements in the game's engine but the cutscenes and presentation are way much better than the third game and it's kinda close to the anime the map and the field are much bigger than before while trying to pass the ball to the other players you can see the other players above the map, and that makes the ball passing is much easier than before the good thing is the improvement of the All Star mode you can play against the computer player or against your friend of course and there is a coop mode, which means you can play the game with your friend against the computer and that it self is a huge feature also, you can choose several teams to play with unlike the third game that force you to play with one team against it self there is no huge changes in the engine, but it have an awesome contents that make it a special game in the series and it's worth buying without a doubt we are saying it with full sadness, its the last of the series but, is it any better than the previous ones? sadly, it's not it's still using the same engine but with completely different presentation instead of having a map with numbers with above screen that shows the animation of controlled players all these things were fused at once it uses the RPG sport but you see all what happens here with less cutscenes there is no cutscenes except the special moves one of the awesome things in the previous games was the cutscenes this game has a few cutscenes but they are so awesome and you won't see them much that does not make the fifth game is bad but it's hard to get used to, especially if you played the previous ones a lot if you asked which one is the best in series through our experience.. the forth one and the worst is the first one but the whole series is worth buying, and that's all about Captain Tsubasa series thanks so much Mohammed hope you liked it I would like to thank you all for watching and supporting us through these 8 months, see you again in the next episode
