Hi, I'm Sarah with RealTruck.com. We're at SEMA 2012 and right now I'm talking with Matt
Reasoner at BedRug, and you guys won the best new product of the year, so congratulations!
Thank you, thank you.
I'm excited to let you show it to us.
Uh, we won the new product for our new Jeep floor liners, uh, we make two different styles.
We've got the BedRug material as well as the BedTred liner, so we're capturing both customers,
uh, you know, the replacement floor guy, the replacement carpet guy, or the, uh, spray
in liner guy.
So uh, the features and benefits that you get with the BedRug and BedTred material that
are, I guess are more beneficial than what's already on the market, number one, you don't
have to remove the front seats like you do with the spray in liner or with a replacement
carpet kit.
We also offer an added heat shield for the transmission tunnel, which is a known hot
spot for Jeep owners. So that heat shield cuts down on the road noise, the engine noise,
also keeps that heat from coming through.
Um, mold and mildew resistant. That is really the number one feature that you get with these
that you are missing out on with the replacement carpet kits. You know, if you're doing any
kind of serious off roading, it's going to get wet, it's going to get moldy and it's
going to get mildewed and you're going to replacing it in another three to five years.
Whereas this, you're not going to have that issue.
Also chemical resistant. If you're carrying a spare gas can like many off-roaders are
serious rock crawlers do, you spill that on here, not an issue. Just power wash it right
off.
Nice. Now in the back we're looking at,
We're looking at the Tred material back here in the back, which is more of going after
that spray-in-liner type of guy, it's got that more rugged feel to it.
And then let's run around to the front and take a closer look at that, alright.
So now, up in the front we're looking at the different version of it.
In the front here we've got the bed, BedRug material, which is our more traditional material.
Uh, despite the plush look and feel it's actually a very resilient material. Uh, you don't have
to pamper it, you don't have to baby it, but it will be more for that replacement carpet
type customer just because of the look and feel of it.
