California Star Wars Collector Breaks World Record with around 300,000 Pieces of Memorabilia

Well...not really.....we've come to California
to see Steve Sansweet. Just don't mention Star Trek. That's because Steve's been collecting
a lot of Star Wars pieces. And when I say a lot, I actually mean around three hundred
thousand different items. There are storm troopers, fighter spaceships and Boba Fett.
Steve's now found himself in the Guinness World Records book under the watchful glare
of Darth Vader. No relation. "I got interested in Star Wars as a result
of loving science fiction growing up. I read al the classic science fiction novels, I watched
all the cheesy movies and television shows and then there wasn't much science fiction
in the media. But then then Star Wars came out and I was hooked from the very beginning."
CANTINA BAND MUSIC The George Lucas lookalike even knows how
to talk to R-2. Nearly 70 thousand items have been audited and catalogued which is a figure
big enough to beat the previous record itself. Not even The Emperor will be able to top that.
