Early Music Festival 2012 - Malgosia Fiebig, carillonneur

I am Malgosia Fiebig, I am the City Carillonist of Utrecht and Nijmegen. The carillon of the Dom is a wonderful instrument. You could compare it to a stradivarius. I am very happy that I can give concerts here, twice a week. The theme of the Early Music Festival is this year: From Sweelinck to Bach I will play works of Bach and Sweelinck... ...but also suites and other works of Böhm, Telemann and Buxtehude. The Early Music Festival... ...is such a joy, so festive! So many wonderful concerts, So many wonderful musicians, and all of this in one place, one city. Every year it is a joy for me to be here.
