Today I'll talk about seasons in Japan
it is me Diq
If u asked a Japanese, what is cool about Japan?
some of them might give the answer "we have 4 seasons in Japan"
well, to person like me who come from a country which is near the Equator
we have kinda same weather through the year
to us, there are two seasons. rainy and dry seasons
the temperature is same the whole year, well you can say that we have summer all through the year
so 4 seasons is something cool for me
BUT
there a lot of country other than Japan that also have 4 seasons
such as, Korea, Australia, Europe, US
and so on
so what is so special about season in Japan?
well these are just my thought about regarding this topic
the 4 seasons in Japan can be experienced through your body and soul
esp if you live a a rural place or a place that have surrounded by nature
you can feel it the changes in season with your body n soul
for instance, in spring
there lots of pollen flying around
you can see a lot people wearing the mask, walking around
in summer, you can see bugs flying around too
cicada will be your alarm clock
the size of plastic bags for combustable garbage, you should change it to small size
and you should dumb the regularly compare than to the spring
in fall
the temperature difference is harsh
well in morning, the temperature is below 10, afternoon 20 above
night, it will go back down below 10
you'll find a lot those who catch flu during this seasons
actually fall is really short in nagano
in winter
there will be alot of snowng
if u go to work by car, u have to wake up earlier than ever
you have to shovel off the snow, to get your car move
and not to forget the front glass of your car
you have to get the ice move away from it too
the road will become icy too
yup, slippery road
well, snow is not the only thing in winter.
not to forget the electrostatic charge
when you try to open a door or something, you'll get the shock sometime
well you'll be experiencing this kind of phenomenon
through the 4 seasons in Japan
errr...I should about the good side right?
well, the scenery through the seasons in Japan is mesmerizing
for instance, in Spring
the blue or white mountains that you see during the winter will get greeny
you'll find sakura tree almost everywhere
to enjoy the sakura tree, most of Japanese have picnic under the tree
one of their culture, call "hanami"
there also some kind of dessert and drink related to sakura
like sakura mochi
or u can get sakura latte
well sakura is not the only flower blooming in this season
narcissus, tulip are also pretty during spring.
in summer
the mountain will turn perfectly green
on of the best season if you enjoy outdoor activity
hiking, playing at the river, bbq, swiming in the sea
are just some example of outdoor activity you can enjoy during summer
in fall, the mountain will turn into yellow, or red
enjoying red leaves is not the only thing you can do in Fall
the is a phrase call "Fall food appetite"
plenty of delicious food during Fall, esp fruits
apple, persimmon, pear,chestnut
also not to forget, rice and soba(buckwheat)
in winter, you can enjoy the ski resort
well, snowboarding, skiing and playing sled
if they are plenty of snow in front of your house
you can make snowman and even build a snow house
there are plenty of things to do at night too
the atmosphere is clear during the winter, so the star in the sky is really beautiful
illumination decorations in the city are also during the winter
you can also enjoy indoor activity in winter
steamboat party
eating mandarin orange inside a "kotatsu"
is one of the japanese culture you can enjoy during the winter
well there are public holiday for every season
spring day, ocean day, mountain day, fall day
and for winter......
new year?
so how was it my friend?
you can feel season in Japan with your entire body
these are the reasons why they are special
well, from my POV
I nvr experienced all 4 seasons in a country other than Japan, so I dont know about any other country
if there are somebody who like to share their experience,
pls do drop some comments
well thats all for today
