First of all, I think everyone at the conference recognized that science and technology has totally transformed our lives. The pace of technological change right now is so incredibly fast that it's almost impossible to make predictions, even about what might happen a decade from now, which makes it very challenging. AID is, I think, a learning institution. It's thinking about how it can evolve itself with these science and technology changes around the world, how it can help empower countries and help transform society.
