The revegetation was a key point of this project and this plan. One of the things the Forest
Service wanted and desired was to develop two new parking areas that were going to create
new impacts and tundra at this elevation, and so there was a lot of concern about our
ability to successfully revegetate the old parking areas. What we've seen so far in this
contract, it's really been amazing and we're really pleased with the success of the transplant
of these willows at this upper elevation and if you came up here and didn't know, I don't
think that you could tell that the old parking areas were even there.
