Chocolate Lover's Candy Coated Apples Recipe
Hey my Sweet V's, it's The Sweetest Vegan here. Today on the show I will be demonstrating to you how to
make a chocolate coated apple, because candy coating can be tricky at home and I didn't want to use
the packaged stuff so I am using chocolate. Who doesn't like chocolate dipped everything.
So I have a double boiler syster going on here with bittersweet vegan chocolate in a stainless steel bowl at the top
and simmering water at the bottom and I am just whisking in a soy creamer. It is very easy to find in the dairy alternative
section of your grocery. So just pick that up, whisk it in, and it will form a nice glossy ganache for your honey crisp apples.
I love honey crisp apples. They are nice autumn and floral, and they make the perfect apple cider.
They are huge and delicious to eat all by themselves for breakfast or to dip in chocolate. My grandmother was surprised
I chose this beautiful apple to dip in chocolate and nuts, because she thought it was expensive.
And I was like, "It doesn't matter. You have to use quality ingredients at every step and that is how you
make delicious food." You can't just use some cheap butt, hard, little scrumpy stupid apple,
to dip in anything, because that is what it is going to taste like. These came out perfectly delicious as you can see.
Just ripe and ready for your holiday and halloween guest and I love this apple. It was so good to me.
That is it for today. Bye.
