It’s become the typical mode of operation for the last couple massive shootings within
the past four months to seemingly conceal what’s real and silence witnesses who reveal
details they don’t want out. We saw this at an alarming rate in the immediate aftermath
of the Las Vegas massacre that still has provided little to no answers months after 58 were
murdered. That practice seems to be repeating itself to some extent with information surrounding
the Parkland, Florida school attack and the teen who committed the atrocious act.
An official motive as to why 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz stormed his former school and shot as
many students as he could has yet to be released. However, more information is coming out about
him that’s revealing important details that should have never been ignored, one of which
was what cops caught him doing when they captured him.
What makes this shooting spree more unique than the others recently, is that Cruz was
taken into custody alive, but had one more thing he wanted to do before he was inevitably
arrested. After killing 17 people in a horrific manner, the teen was so comfortable with what
he just did that he casually went to a local Walmart, bought himself a drink at a Subway,
then went and got himself some lunch at McDonald’s where he sat and ate with the blood of his
victims still fresh.
Fox 8 reports:
Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said at a news conference Thursday that Nikolas Cruz
tried to mix in with a group of students fleeing the school.
The sheriff says he then headed to a Walmart and bought a drink at a Subway restaurant
before walking to a McDonald’s.
Israel says Cruz was confronted by a police officer and taken into custody about 40 minutes
after leaving the McDonald’s.
This strange activity says a lot about Cruz which the mainstream media and apparently
even the FBI doesn’t want you to know, as well as every liberal in America right now
blaming President Trump for the senseless attack. To commit a crime like Cruz did and
feel so comfortable of your actions as to calmly leave the scene like he was just leaving
school that day and enjoy some lunch, shows how incredibly mentally ill he was.
Trump was right to say immediately after the attack that this was a mental health issue
that causes these attacks and not happening from a lack of gun control. Even victims who
witnessed the horror for themselves said that gun control would not have stopped Cruz from
killing 17 of their classmates and school staff.
It was previously reported that the FBI was warned in September that Cruz was a threat
and that it was not only a possibility that he would attack, it was a probability, based
on the killer’s own words posted on a bail bondsman’s YouTube channel. Cruz publicly
broadcasted there that he was going to be a “professional school shooter.”
People who saw his remark and knew him personally to be a troubled individual reported it to
the FBI. No action was taken to prevent him from making good on his promises that he publicized,
using his real name to do so. Five months later when he did exactly what he said he
would, the FBI claimed that they “do not know if it was the same person” in what
some are saying is a clear attempt to cover up their obvious lack of response that could
have prevented the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre. Fox News reported that
police even responded to Cruz’s residence 36 times leading up to the attack.
It’s far easier for liberals to blame an object that can be controlled rather than
the real issue which is much harder to tackle and that’s mental illness. You can’t control
one’s mental illness as it’s something they have to take personal responsibility
for in acknowledging, addressing it, and treating it to keep in check. “Personal responsibility”
is not something leftists and Democrats are keen on.
If anti-gun liberals truly care about the victims and preventing more loss of innocent
life from school shootings, they would get behind really effective action to stop it.
What schools need is armed security guards and teachers trained in how to use a gun,
along with the right to be armed on campus. Every school campus in America needs to have
a locked layer of security so people can’t just walk in the halls unchecked. Classroom
doors need to be able to shut and lock at once with the touch of a button.
Banks, airports, and train/bus stations are all public places protected by armed security
during hours of operation, so why don’t we do the same for our children? It’s an
expense for local cities that’s worth every dime as an investment into life and our future.
