Hi guys and welcome back to Make Me Up. I am makeup artist Lilly Keys and today I am
going to be showing you how to do Friday night makeup in a hurry.
[music] Okay so I have prepped and permed the skin
and I am going to start with the makeup. First thing I am going to do for this Friday night
in a hurry look is use a brow pencil. This one by NARS it is called Panama and I am just
going to darken them very slightly. This is not a brow look I am just defining the brows.
It is a really good idea to use a pencil when you are in a hurry rather than a brush. It
just makes things go a bit quicker. You can afford to go a bit bolder with your eyebrows
for a night time look. To set the brows I am using a clear mascara. This one is by Collection.
We are using it on the brows just to tidy them up. So I basically brushed them upwards
and then I just neaten them up.
Right, so on to the eyes next and I am going to be using cream shadows for this Friday
night in a hurry look. This one is called Colour Edition 24 hours it is by Bourjois.
It is a cream to powder texture. I am using this color which is a shimmery gold and I
am just going all across the lid. This makes it really quick and really easy. No need for
brushes or any level of skill or anything like that. So the next shadow I am going to
be using is the same Colour Edition 24 hour cream to powder texture. This one is a plummy
shimmery color and really we are going to be concentrating just above the lash line
here. I am now going to be applying the same color underneath the eyes and I am going to
be using a brush for this but quite a small, pointy, flippy brush. And just underneath,
just give it a bit of smokiness. For the last cream shadow I am using is this one it is
kind of like a pearl, dusty pink shimmery color and this is really just to bring some
light to the eyes so again, on my finger, and we are just going to be putting it on
the center of the eye lids just to make the eyes really sparkle. Now to give some extra
definition to the eyes I am using a black matte shadow. This one is by Topshop and it
is called Blackboard. I am using an angled eye shadow brush. I am just going to be darkening
along the lash line here and just the crease just a little bit just to give some really
nice contrast. You are going to go for a bit of a cat eye look for this Friday night in
a hurry makeup so I am going to ring this out very slightly onto the line and out and
I am using this Magic Liner by Topshop which is a liquid liner, it is amazing. So I am
using short, feathery strokes and I am just resting the liner on top of the lashes, really,
for a nice flick.
And I am going to take it in the direction of the shadow. And to the lashes now and for
the mascara I am using this one by Eyeko it is called Black Magic Drama and Curl. So I
am just really getting into the roots. You can afford to put about two to three coats
of mascara on this look. No false lashes because we are in a hurry. We are going to do the
foundation now but before that we just need to make sure we have got no makeup that has
dropped on the face so I am using my Bioderma makeup remover with a cotton bud. There is
a bit of glitter and a little bit, a tiny bit of makeup that has dropped so we are just
going to clean it up like this.
For the foundation I am using this one by Bourjois, it is called Healthy Mix syrum job
foundation and it is in shade light beige. So I am just going to put some on my hand,
use my foundation brush, and I am going to start in the middle of the face and go outwards
so we do not get that tired mark around the jaw line. So, because this is a Friday night
look, I am giving some good coverage here with the foundation. We want a really flawless
finish and makes it last all night long too. So for the bronzer I am using this one by
Topshop, it is called Reflect, it has got three slightly different shades, it is really
lovely with a really slight shimmer to it too. So I am just going to be putting this
on my brush and putting the bronzer underneath the cheekbones just to create some definition
to the face. So we can it and look temporals, and then the forehead and underneath the chin
and maybe a tiny touch on the nose just to balance it out. So on to the lips now and
because we are in a hurry and we are doing our makeup really quickly we are just going
to put a lip gloss on. This one is by Bobbi Brown and it is called Warm Peach. So it is
a really beautiful, neutral, nude color. To finish off this super quick look I am going
to be using this powder. It is by Revlon. It is called Nearly Naked and it is in shade
Fair so I really am just going to be doing a little bit of powder on the forehead. Alex
does not really need powder but if you do just apply it where necessary, do not go overboard
with it. So I am just going to be doing it on the nose and the chin. And there you have
it.
So here you have it guys, the finished look for today. I really hope you liked this video,
if you do please give me a big thumbs up and do not forget to tune in next week where I
will be showing you how to do a crystal party smokey eye.
