I am wearing the women's Mountain Hardwear Thermostatic jacket. This is a really light
weight synthetic filled jacket that is great for layering or wearing as a stand alone piece
in late fall or mild winter conditions. It is a synthetic filled jacket and it is filled
with Mountain Hardwear's 60 gram thermal Q elite synthetic insulation which means that
it has a lot of warmth for its weight and it is a lot warmer than it looks.
The features on this jacket are pretty straight forward. At the hem you have dual draw cord.
So you can really cinch that down. You have a full length zipper with a storm flap. And
there is a little piece of fabric sown in there and it is supposed to be an anti snag
design. So that makes it really easy to unzip the jacket.
The collar is really simple and straight forward. You just have elastic as well as on the cuff,
a little piece of elastic there. You have just two hand warmer pockets and they are
fleece lined. A cool think about the pocket on the right hand side is that you have a
double zipper and so you can actually store the jacket inside this pocket.
The fit of this jacket is more of a standard fit. And so I am wearing a medium and I would
feel a little more comfortable in a small because I have a little bit of room. But other
than that, the feel of this jacket, it is really soft. It feels really light weight
on an I feel like I can move really well in it.
With the really stylish quilting designs and the fun color options, the Thermostatic jacket
is a piece that you can take anywhere.
