Now we are going to take a look at our G mixolydian which is the 5th mode of C major. So all the
white notes and you notice now we have our flat 7 in here, we still have the 4th note
in there as a void note but we have this nice 7th sound and you hear that all over the place
especially in the blues it is a great place to use it. Use your blue scale also it is
the 5,7 or 2,5 going back to the 1 so this is the mode that you are probably going to
see the most except for the Dorain mode. It is really useful to get under your hands and
all you got to remember is you take this 7 and make it flat so there is a whole step
between your 7 and your root.
Great scale to utilize the bebop scale to as well and that is G mixolydian.
