Once you've written your script and recorded your audio, you're ready to begin the script
synchronisation process in One Hour Video Studio
If you haven't added script markers to your script, now's the time to do it, go back and
watch Visual Script Development for guidance on how to do this
What happens during script synchronization is you'll playback your audio recording, and
whilst you're listening to the recording, you simply click each of the corresponding
markers in your script while your audio plays back.
As you do this, One Hour Video Studio will add the timings from your audio recording
into your script, and these will be used in the next stage to produce your Powerpoint
Presentation.
So, to do this, drag your audio recording onto the Script To Audio tab in One Hour Video
Studio, and open the script text file for the recording if it's not open already.
Once you've done that, simply click play, and read your script while the audio plays
back. As you realise a new script marker is about to come up, simply click the marker
as it coincides with the audio.
Do this for each marker until you've completed the script.
You can pause the recording and take a break if you need to, and if you've made mistakes
you can simply rewind your audio, and click on the markers again to insert new timings.
If you're working on a big script, you can pick up where you left off by right clicking
any marker that's already had a timing measure added to it and selecting "Play from this
marker"
Once you've done this process a couple of times and you're comfortable with it, consider
using the "Fast Playback Option" while you listen to your audio. This will playback your
narration at a faster speed, so you can get through the synchronization process quicker,
but obviously this means you'll need to be ready to click your markers that much quicker.
Once you've completed this process and added timings to every marker in your script, you're
ready to produce your Powerpoint file, which we'll cover next.
