Hello guys, welcome to this Minecraft Tutorial where I'm going to show you what you can do to make things automatic using Redstone.
Here I have:
1.
2.
3.
This is a very simple door
That is a more andvanced door
And that is some sort of cave which I have built myself (that's visible) and in there I'm going to show you multiple things
As well as the entrance as the exit, both automatical because of the Redstone.
Part 3.
Part 2
Part 1, which you're looking at right now
Part 1 is very easy, this is the easiest door I could think of
You switch the lever, the door closes. You do it again, it opens.
Easier than that isn't even possible :)
Now I'm going to show you how to build it:
I have used pink, so it's very noticable what is important and what isn't.
For instance, in that cave I used stone, so you can see there's redstone on top (so you don't break it by accident)
Something like this, just make a square
Wait a sec, I did something wrong (already)
Do the same thing on the other side
Usually, I place the pistons first
So you can see exactly where you want to place the door
I want them here, so I place four pistons, two on each side on top of eachother.
So you mark the place (I do it with pink wool) where you're going to walk through (2 blocks wide)
Behind those you place the pistons
Then, you place a block behind the lower piston
Then, you make room for the redstone, and put a torch under the bottom piston.
Then you put redstone on the pink block, and it will be powered by the torch
Then you place a redstone repeater over here
You can break the redstone on this side if you want, it's not needed. When you have broken it, you can fill it up with dirt.
You do the exact same thing on the other side (place the pistons and redstone + torch)
I'll do that right now
Just place two pistons on this side
Place a block behind it and put some redstone on top
Go underground to put a torch beneath the pink block
Like that
This is the most compact door I know. Ofcourse there are other ways to do this, but I think this is the best, so you don't have place redstone everywhere
See?
This is the most practical.
You can do this; the same as I did there, on the original one
When this is all dirt, you won't see where the door is hidden
See?
Great.
In Part 2 I'll show you the second door
This was part 1, in which you have learned how to build a very compact redstone door.
The "Part 2" annotation is here on top somewhere
Thanks for watching, and I'll see you later!!
