How to Make Hot Chocolate - Ingredients for making hot cocoa

Hello! My name is Melissa and on behalf of Expert Village today, I am going to teach you how to make the perfect cup of hot chocolate. In our first clip let's go over the ingredients to make the perfect cup of hot chocolate. So we don't need very much in the way of ingredients actually. We need milk of course. To make the perfect cup we want to use milk rather than water. You can also put cream into it as well if you want but it is whatever you decide. We will go into that in a later clip but some form of milk product and of course, chocolate chips or chocolate. You can buy Baker's Chocolate in squares. I'll get into that in a later clip as well. Your favorite chocolate bar as well. In this case we picked a Toblerone bar. That is for garnishing a little bit later on. For garnishes as well, we've got our whipped cream, a couple of different flavors and also marshmallows. In this case, we went for large marshmallows instead of the smaller marshmallows. Also some different flavors. Now I haven't included in here any type of liqueur but you can also flavor your hot chocolate with various liqueurs as well if you so desire. And different types of spices as well. You may not have thought of this. But things like mint leaves like we have in this case and also things like ground nutmeg. I am going to teach you a couple of variations. You an flavor your hot chocolate to the way that you desire. I'll just teach you how to prepare it.
