Stop wasting your breath because it wastes me away tonight. we try to fill the empty space between all the lies unbecoming of us. the subtle hints of your deceit like a shouted warning that i couldn't hear. (i sputter and stop, feigning indifference, you can't see the pain on my face) so i hid away and spent the day dreaming, learning. until it's given back. now i know your words like bricks, they hurt the same, but inside is really where the wounds appear. i just want one word of truth, so i'm telling you to stop wasting your breath.
