Water Crisis

Hello! Today I'm going to be talking about a water crisis in africa. Everyday we drink safe water, all we have to do is walk into the kitchen and we have it. Meanwhile people in Africa have to walk a long distance for water that might not even be safe! Drinking this unsafe water can give diseases and eventually lead to death. UNSAFE water has dangerous bacteria but it can be removed by boiling. boiling water for 20 minutes will completely eliminate bacteria, cysts of parasites, worm larvae, and viruses. However there's a slight chance that some bacteria can be alive. Before boiling the water you should probably use a charcoal filter to clean out the dirt. There's a site that helps this problem, the URL is www.charitywater.org. You probably know about them but if you don't here is what they do. Charity Water is a group that gives safe water for everyone in the world. there is fundraisers that anyone can donate to. all donations go into projects. they do things like hand dug wells or drilled wells, they make water purification systems, pipe systems, etc etc.... And anyone can start a fundraising project on this site. Charity water has been going for seven years, with over 10,000 water projects and over 3.5 million people helped.
