Walk around studio ARAKTI
In the 5th chapter of my school project brochure I explained,
which components I use in my home recording studio.
Now I show them to you
and I give you also information about manufacturer.
Here you see comupter Mac Mini from Apple.
It includes two monitors,
an external hard disc,
and a special keyboard and mouse, also by Apple company.
On the computer I have installed DAW software,
as GarageBand in this case.
I have also installed software EnegryXT,
the instalation disc you can see here.
Here you can see one of the reference audio monitors
with a balanced frequency range from M-AUDIO company.
It is used for sound monitoring during a recording process.
There is a loudspeaker Behringer Eurolive just above it.
Here on the table you see Edirol that is used as
a MIDI interface, sound card and D/A interface.
Here you can see headphones from Behringer.
They are used to monitor sound during recording, exactly as audio monitors.
Here is my mixer XENYX 1832 USB.
There is A/D interface and FX processor built-in.
It is placed in a studio rack.
There is also a drum module ALESIS D4 in a studio rack.
This module has also inputs for drum pads, so it can be used as a MIDI trigger.
This is the EWI, that means electronic wind instrument made by AKAI.
This is the keyboard ProKeys 88 from M-AUDIO.
It is a stage piano with balanced keyboard, but I use it as a master keyboard in my studio.
Just above it there is a synthesizer YAMAHA SY22 that I use as a controller in my studio.
Next to it is usualy placed an acoustic guitar Tenson, that is suitable for exercise.
It is placed in a special guitar stand.
Here we see electric guitar Tenson California, a copy of Fender Stratocaster.
It is also stored in a special guitar stand.
The guitar is connected by TS cable to ZAR E-10 guitar cabinet, which has a volume control,
a simple equalizer and an overdrive effect.
If I wish to have the cabinet amplified, or to use the FX processor built in the mixer,
I use this microphone.
It is one of my dynamic microphones JTS.
The microphone is placed in the mic stand.
Here are the electronic drums Medeli DD 506.
They consist from drum pads and a drum module.
Next to them are bongos, which is one of the precussion in my studio.
They are amplified by a condenser microphone.
Here is an acoustic drum kit produced by company Ludwig.
It consists from drums and cymbals, but I have enriched it with other components
such as a cowbell.
Here are Remo skins, that are ready to be changed on my acoustic drum kit.
Here are drum sticks and brushes used when playing on the acoustic drums.
I have shown you what components is made my studio from,
I have shown you software as GarageBand or Energy,
the hardware such is a computer and its accessories,
or speakers, audio monitors, mixer or interfaces.
I have shown you amplified instruments such as electric guitar,
electronic instruments such as electronic drums,
or acoustic instruments like acoustic guitar or drums.
This is the end of walking around my home recording studio ARAKTI.
