There is something which the human being has always yearned for above all his aspirations, his longings, his desires.
This something is knowledge.
I would like to know where we came from and where we are heading.
How can we improve human relations in the world?
Is there life after death?
What is the purpose of this life?
What can I do to be happy?
What can I do to know myself?
Can I change my own destiny?
Why is it that the people I like the most are the ones I argue most with?
Is there a place where I can learn about all these things?
Logosophy does not give direct answers to these questions,
but it creates the means for each one to discover his own answers.
It is one's conscience that will decide whether the answer is right or not.
There are more than a thousand ways to explain what Logosophy is.
It is a science, with its own method to reach its great objectives:
the knowledge of one's self, the knowledge of the mental world, and the knowledge of God.
For me, it is a new way of conceiving and feeling life.
It is a study to uncover all the laws that govern the universe.
Logosophy is a science that leads the human being
to discover all the potential he has within himself and which is unknown to him.
But nothing will work if we don't apply the logosophical method in a way
that it will allow us to feel and to experiment in our own inner world because that is how we forge our conscience.
Logosophy was created in 1930
by the Argentine educator and thinker Carlos Bernardo Gonzá*** Pecotche.
Observing the lack of orientation prevailing in the world,
Gonzá*** Pecotche dedicated a great part of his time
to teaching a method that would enable man
to penetrate in his inner life, to awaken the creative potential of his mind
and to redeem his spiritual inheritance by means of a process of evolution of his conscience.
Evolution which also means transformation, improvement, and renovation.
The author gave hundreds of lectures
wrote numerous articles and several books,
some of which have been translated into other languages.
In order to make it possible for Logosophy's great objectives to be reached,
he created the Logosophical Foundation,
a non-profit, non-political, non-religious private Institution,
recognized as a public service organization by the governments of several of the countries
where its cultural centers are located,
due the benefits that its teachings bring to the individual and to society.
In Brazil, the Logosophical Foundation has cultural centers in most of the states.
In Brazil, the Logosophical Foundation has cultural centers in most of the states.
Its presence is also noteworthy in Uruguay, in Argentina,
and in other parts of the world.
Its cultural centers offer an experimental ground that is highly favorable
to the study and practice of this new field of knowledge,
since the logosophical method recommends - as a complement to the study
and practice within one's self - the study in groups,
where it is possible to maintain an stimulating and positive exchange
of what has been understood and of the results achieved.
In an environment of affection and respect, people of all ages
confirm the excellence of the logosophical teachings
and develop a new humanism,
capable of renewing their confidence in a better future.
This is the good news Logosophy offers:
The Logosophical Schools, where the logosophical techniques and method are adopted
for the teaching of children and adolescents.
Furthermore, any adult will be able to acquire greater resources
to understand and apply the cognitions of this science.
The Logosophical Pedagogy makes it possible for teachers,
while teaching the subjects in the official curriculum,
to offer students the means to get to know their inner world and the resources they can count on.
They will gradually learn, in a natural way, how to activate their intelligence and their sensitivity.
I consider this Pedagogy as being for myself.
So, I must, first, apply it to myself. I have to work towards my self-elevation.
Those that make the option of carrying out a process of conscious evolution,
feel, at once, positive effects in every aspect of their lives.
The benefits that Logosophy has brought to my life are in great number.
And I can say that the greatest one was discovering the meaning of life.
When you have acquired knowledge, you are able to find out what you really want in life.
Logosophy has made me a much happier human being. And a much more confident one.
It reduced my anguish of feeling lost.
Today, I have a clear notion of what I want in life.
And I have found out that I could improve and not repeat mistakes that I used to make.
The greatest benefit that I have acquired from Logosophy
is the certainty when making the most important decisions in my life.
This gave me the opportunity to take over the direction of my destiny.
The most important one is in regard of my children's upbringing.
Logosophy allows me to acquire the necessary resources for their upbringing.
Learning to think and how to create my own thoughts,
I started to build my will and take over the reins of my life.
I think we start looking at problems more as if they were challenges.
At least, for me, it has been so.
Logosophy has taught me that happiness is linked to my conception of life.
I have to build this happiness within myself and not look for it elsewhere.
We usually want the others to change.
I have learned from Logosophy that, first, we must change ourselves.
By changing ourselves, we end up extending the results to others.
I am the first one to receive the benefits, then my family
and all those that are close to me.
To make future generations happier than ours
will be the greatest reward one can aspire to.
There is no value comparable to the accomplishment of this great mission
which consists in preparing a better world for the future of mankind.
