TONY KAPECHUK: Hi, my name is Tony. And on behalf of Expert Village, I'll be showing
you how to turn this check socket into a laminated definitive prosthesis. Now, we're ready for
our release button. We'll have Loctite to these threads as well.
Now, we're ready to attach our socket to our shin and our foot portion. Again, we'll Loctite
all threads.
This is our pyramidal attached to our shin. Pull back in the two screws that we marked
earlier in the program.
Again, we'll torque it to the manufacturer's specs.
Now, we can check if our liner attaches to our lock and is functioning properly, which
it is. This is the liner that the patient will put on. And this is how the prosthesis
will be held on to the patient. For a finishing touch, you can add a circle piece of leather
over your button. It makes a nice finishing touch. If you followed all your steps, you'll
have this, a finished BK prosthesis ready for delivery. Once again, I'm Tony and on
behalf of Expert Village, thanks for watching.
