My name is Klaas Rozema, third-year student at the Theological University in Kampen.
Nice small town, lots of history.
I'm studying to be a pastor because I really like to share my faith with others, to talk about faith with them
- to talk about God, how awesome He is.
I just heard some students talking about the foreign exchange program.
I got some information about the program, and then I was like: "Hey, that's something I'd really like to try."
So a short time back I decided to go for it.
Yeah, I think that if you go abroad, your faith is going to grow in depth and you meet other people.
They can show you new things about the faith, about how God is at work in the world.
It would be an awesome experience to have.
The Theological University has ties with different universities or institutions abroad,
so there's a whole range of places you can go. Every one of them has at least something to say for it.
Our instructors or professors sometimes go to other institutions, and their professors sometimes come here.
So the other day I pretty much made up my mind to go to America. It'd be nice to get a little further away than just Europe.
It's part of the western world, but the culture there is still different from what I'm used to here in Europe.
Our university has ties with Covenant Theological Seminary, so I'm browsing their website now, digging up some information.
And I'm checking out the exact admissions requirements while I'm at it.
I have to say, it's a little more work than I first thought.
But I want to go, and I think we can make this thing happen!
