Nola: Well today we're going to have you try the new knit. And I cannot wait to see how
you style this light, open-stitched Spring trend.
Lauren: Ooh! All right! I'm excited! Lauren: I'm Lauren Messiah, and I'm a stylist
in Los Angeles. My website is my name, laurenmessiah.com. Pretty simple. Basically I'm a shopaholic,
and I document that online. I'm playing with the open-stitch trend, it's a really easy
trend to incorporate into your wardrobe. It's not your grandma's sweater, it's kind of an
edgier, cooler sweater. It's got a lot of open weaves, so definitely layer upon color,
or an interesting texture underneath it. It's just kind of a loose, edgy look that's comfortable
but still has a lot of style. So today I'm wearing some really great jeans from Rock
and Republic, they are like beyond comfortable and I'm obsessed with them. I've got these
really great shoes on from Lauren Conrad. My sweater is also Rock and Republic, and
I've layered underneath this metallic tanktop, which is by Jennifer Lopez collection, and
then I topped it off with this cute little sweatshirt and these great necklaces.
Nola: This season is all about the new knits. Whether it's lace or crochet, it's the perfect
element to add to your wardrobe.
