Fall 2011 Anime Review - Chihayafuru and mirai nikki - Future diary

Hi! I'm Toddashi, and this is my first video review. I'd like to review two series this fall season 2011 that don't seem to be getting a whole lot of mention. One is Chihayafuru, and the other is Mirai Nikki, also known as Future Diary. Chihayafuru I've been watching on on Crunchyroll, and it's about uh... a game call karuta that involves the one hundred famous poems, and I liked it so much I actually bought the one hundred poems cards. The main character, Ayase Chihaya, umm is introduced to the game and quickly get pretty obsessed with it. And one of the cards uh... has her name uh... in the poem uh... the name Chihaya is the beginning of the poem and it's got a really nice style to it, and I found myself really really getting involved with the characters you know, getting to like the characters, and they seem pretty well-rounded, and uh... I really like the art style, and I think overall it's just a lot of fun. Mirai Nikki, Future Diary, I've been watching on niconico.com, and uh... this one is pretty messed up. And it's also a lot of fun uh... Amano "Yukki" Yukiteru uh... has this whole world in his head and uh... that starts coming out in an interesting way. And this is the first show where I found myself liking a yandere character and uh... actually cheering her on, because I find her really likable and her heart's kind of in the right place though she's kind of insane. Which is kind of the point. So check both of those out if you want. I recommend them. and uh... hopefully I will make a new video review soon. Thank you, bye.
