pat robertson I was asked one of these questions that comes into his show when it was my son says he's gay what should I do here's pat robertson's reaction if this is fields who says my 16-year-old son says he's gay what do I do well a up tight you need to pray for me and I think you need to counsel with him and see you know is there really a biological thing going on or has he been influenced as a coach I'll want to let the world they're so much that will I i kno and the whole I thereof up I'll these kids are formative state ensure they may have some attractions them people same sex I mean they don't know what they're doing that they're teenagers I'll so some you know legal for the opposite sex %uh more attracted to one another and and the lot of things that happen so don't Riley lawford I think what you need to do is talk to and counsel with them and and be understand being be alright okay so for it we have to analyze this piece by piece first about the kid never said anything about being abused molested et cetera just that he's gay and it's actually not true that there is causation between being sexually abused or molested and being gay you can look at information from the national health and social life survey you can look at hight Janice Jefferson Moberly Macfadden all have studied this abuse does not cause homosexuality in for those who will say well isn't their correlation that may be the case but just because there is correlation that doesn't mean that being abused causes you to be gay there may be other factors which place gay individuals in situations where they are more likely to be abused so that's number one the number two how is praying for the gay kid a solution Louis like what what will happen if the mom praise for the gay kid a good question I don't know I guess it might the in my career that a demon its it in him Frank Pixies pretty much everything I guess if you ask pat robertson you just need to make sure you do it the right way right because when he's been asked well we prayed but the good thing didn't happen or the bad thing happened you either we're praying hard enough or you looked like you were playing on the outside but you're kind of just going through the motions and really you weren't really praying he didn't really wanna can you imagine how many lives have been ruined young and old by following this particular brand of Christianity and really extremist brands have all the major religions yeah its I most these people never realize that it's ruining their life for their relationship with their family or a any number up situations I guess it's pretty sad
