GLAZED HAM, PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE AND CREAMY ASPARAGUS.
LET'S GET THE HAM GOING FIRST.
PLACE IT IN A BAKING DISH, TOP WITH HALF A CUP OF
PINEAPPLE PRESERVES AND BAKE.
WHILE THE HAM IS BAKING, WE CAN PUT THE PINEAPPLE
CASSEROLE TOGETHER.
MY KIDS LOVE THIS SIDE DISH.
JUST COMBINE FLOUR, SUGAR AND SHREDDED WHITE CHEDDAR CHEESE.
THEN STIR IN PINEAPPLE UNTIL EVENLY COATED.
PLACE THIS MIXTURE IN A BAKING DISH, TOP WITH
FRESH BUTTERED CRACKERS, AND BAKE UNTIL BUBBLY.
NOW WE CAN START ON THE CREAMY ASPARAGUS
WHILE THE CASSEROLE BAKES.
SAUTÉ ASPARAGUS IN OIL UNTIL IT'S LIGHTLY BROWNED.
THEN REDUCE HEAT, ADD EUROPEAN SALAD DRESSING,
SALT AND PEPPER, AND WHEN THE ASPARAGUS IS TENDER,
TOP WITH SHAVED PARMESAN CHEESE.
NOW COMBINE THE REMAINING PRESERVES AND PINEAPPLE JUICE,
AND MICROWAVE UNTIL HOT.
SERVE THIS SAUCE WITH THE HAM, CASSEROLE AND
ASPARAGUS, AND YOUR SIMPLE MEAL IS ALL SET.
