Hello hello, everyone. I am Darkness and welcome back to Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. This is one that if you actually got through all of the trials that I played that's a it's a long episode and I didn't want to cut it and I just took more of a breather than I thought I'd have to that scene of how she was fighting her darkness her her battle of the mind that Dillion was calling it like made me hurt inside so I'm gonna keep going with that because this game I mean it's not even the title sacrifice and the idea of delaying or dealing with or overcoming or anything to do with death but also an idea of how how in general we what we're what we're willing to go through for the things that we care about and the things that we feel make us who we are so we're about to pull the sword from the tree the remade sword having a weapon again to fight the strength to pass the warrior trials she saw her past behind meloria Indians why the voices to go bested by the gods of darkness leaving price for this but yes later with the symbols parting words still holding her the darkness came back with a vengeance everyone suffered my father was not supposed to die like this the suffering you've caused this is your father you brought this bracelet she didn't do it though they're coming for you now they're coming to get well with the Master Sword I'm pretty sure that I can kill them whoa holy smokes in the sea of corpses the corpse wave threw itself over the ones I loved the ship broke up under them the ship that had sealed from the land of shining fields their memorial stone a secret come not here in the Sun come not with us or come not crying over a naked corpse come not disturbed why is she paying a price for the sword though does your precious gift of sight let you see the souls but Rottier in this sea of corpses do you feel the blood running cold on the skin do you hear their endless cries do you smell that putrid wounds they were once brothers sisters and loved ones look what you have done to them she didn't do it her whole because you were a coward because you Biden from your curse instead of facing when you turn your back on the father's in though so the back of the gods and let the darkness leak out upon your feet boys why must they pay for your era see but she didn't do it this is a curse of the gods they're saying she was she was free to live her life to be she was allowed to be happy Oh Oh get up get up get up get up it's nearly over so her gift of sight let her see the suffering in others what was she supposed to be a shield to make it so others didn't have to suffer why would her father have said then that he was the only one his hand could cure her that would have been a blatant lie Oh that's when I haven't met for a while blocked got'em No so she was born of a mother who was dying that's why she got it like this got you oh she's dead just like youth this can't be her journey through the stages of death it can't just in like that she calls for you said Noah go to Mars Bob suck it simple cold that voice is not on my side a servant another times calendars it's the boundedness we came for a site she who doubted the gods of the darkness it first she escaped she gave her life to the gods what did she hold too late she's calling for you why don't you join up she didn't owe them anything oh you're new Oh God II won No why would she have been expected if she's a shield why would she have given her life in the first place No evade my *** No nope No her sacrifice she's not going to be allowed to leave this is she huh ah no if she goes down the darkness spreads right ah nope all right you No there can't be anymore there's no way and what is this green thing doing over here No they never stop okay nope No watch and still time locks into the seeds of little Superman is this Loki why what has she done doe she tried saving herself why are you fighting thank you to these players she's 12 he didn't really say that about that couldn't have been what he said about his father dying Oh he's injured too though jeez and why do our own voices tell her to run so often is that just her reaction to her own her own darkness for so long come at me No am I supposed to die here it was like a dance I just realized why it looks the way it does she described as like watching a dance the darkness has taken you did her mom really surrender but the voices aren't telling the truth they haven't been telling the truth linked arms I can't fight it anymore I want to be with you there's no way she gave up that night she gave up on her world to follow in the footsteps of her mother to go to a place where the darkness couldn't reach her it's she was fighting a flashback look at me do you they're calling for me we've lost so many and I've lost my father I can't lose you you said I was blood of my hands I didn't say that you've done nothing wrong simple was right every symbol is a fake he is a hateful better liar he's poison and his words still haunt you who do you trust him for me do you still believe in his anyone in us it was in her mind come back to me please the hardest battles of Ford in the mind he gave her the sword with which to fight in more ways than one and she gave him her word never to surrender all she needed was a little help that was grueling I know that there's limited of me saying anything about that but that so if the last one was a trial of her struggling and not being able to fight back within her own mind this was her keeping her promise to fights to keep fighting when Dillian asked when she was pretty much asked whether she was gonna give up and commit suicide at the cliffside because she blamed it all and her own her own psychosis was telling her that she had seen Dillion blame her for the death of his father and he got there in time to tell her that the darkness in her mind and inside of her was consuming her and to trust him I don't know why then she left I guess that is going to be in another part but a weapon with which to fight and a promise to keep in the knowledge that the hardest battles have fought in the mind that is as you can see why the idea of getting him back would be the only thing driving if the only thing that kept her if the only thing that kept her here in the first place if I'm giving up was him cuz it sounds like her whole life she had been lied to and told that she was a hopeless cause and he told her it was a lie that she wasn't a hopeless she there was hope and there was a way to fight and that she didn't have to live afraid of it anymore and she slipped somewhere in there and decided to try to get rid of it so she could be even more like him to live a normal life and be a normal person not hindered by this and while she was gone he was killed this is literally the journey of going to hell and back to try to find purpose in life and to try to bring back the person that gave it to you in the first place I'm assuming that her sacrifice as the title says is a double-edged sword it's her sacrifice of carrying this curse and at the same time what she's going to give up to get him so again this is gonna be one of those that I'm gonna end up making its own video of kind of recapping everything because in experiencing and seeing the visuals and hearing the words and by the way ever since Dillian said in the last one in the trial to listen to only him there was that gaping silence where all the voices in her head went away and so like it put in it an immediate loneliness on me because in playing this they've gotten it right what it sounds like to hear the the figments and fragments and the pieces of your mind that you think you hear something and you think you know something that you don't they took it all away to show the loneliness of what she was when trying to fight it that all of those things haunt her to remind her of the darkness inside of her but when fighting it she's alone doing it again though when Dylan's voice just came here the voices were there when she's fighting the fight to not give up again like her mother gave up but when it came back to being the flashback of Dillian finding her at the cliff the voices were dawn again her solace is completely found in him which is a dangerous solace to have and my psychology degree wants to come through right now and say that if you're if your will and fight and drive to keep surviving and going on is based in a person then it has an immediate fault of that people are human beings which means that they can make mistakes and they can die it's a dangerous this is dangerous places to trust your whole being inside of when they're just as fallible and they're just as frail they're just as human as you are too I don't think at this point she cares at all about her own life I think she just cares about the promise to keep fighting but I think her promise of to keep fighting was exactly the same as the first part of the sense where she said that he gave her the will to fight the sword to fight he gave he she gave him a promise but I think it was a I promise where she didn't say the last line out loud which is to fight it as long as he's there and he's not I'm still confused when the voices said and say that she's dead just like her mother I'm more and more confused whether this is her her own journey into death and having died to get here to get to Dillian or if she actually is alive the only people the only things allowed to cross that bridge were the dead that's what drew said what did they're leaving out a piece and it's it's driving me insane and it's gripping me in a way that I want to someone in the comments warned me to take breaks that it was a roller coaster I don't know if I can take a break I think I need to but we'll see if I continue on with this session so thank you so much for
