Ladies and gentlemen, I'm Joey Gunz. Check me out on line at www.joeygunz.com. This is
the last 16th part of our 16 part series on getting started in photography. One of the
last things we are going to talk about today is the wide angle lens. If you get a lens
that is wide enough and call it a fish eye lens because the fish has one eye and it sees
like 160 degree feel of you or something like that. With wide angle lens it really gives
you the ability to shoot a wide area of space where you might not necessarily have to back
up a long distance to get a very large area. To give you an example, if we were to take
this lens that you are viewing now through the Internet, this wonders model of knowledge
and information that is delivered to you relatively free, well at least the knowledge is. The
Internet connection costs money. Now you see what a wide angle is. So you see we can do
everything and catch like freak shot and catch me doing a little thing. It gives you the
ability to cover a large area of space in a relatively short distance. So that is your
wide angle. Wide angle lenses are essential for doing landscapes for shooting people in
short areas but be aware a lot of times your wide angle lens will cause distortion. They
may make you look like you've got a big head or really long or kind of like plastic man
or something so be really careful when you are dealing with your wide angle lenses because
they do call it a fish eye affect for some reason. All right, I'm Joey Gunz and its been
real fun bringing you all 16 parts here on Expert Village. You can get on line and I'm
sorry, you're already on line. You can go over to www.joeygunz.com and check out some
of my work. Give me some feedback. I would like to hear from you.
