In the first promo for her docu-series "Mariah's World," the singer offers a glimpse into her over-the-top lifestyle.
"I don't think everyone knows anything about me," the 46-year-old says into the camera.
Well, here's one thing, as seen in the clip: sunglasses are her go-to accessory.

In one hilarious scene, the pop singer, known for her diva antics, refuses to take her shades off.
"I'm wearing these glasses because we're in fluorescent lighting and I have a rule which states I will not be seen in fluorescent lighting without sunglasses. I know it's very '90s."

Mariah Carey and James Packer's rocky roads to love
Carey, who is engaged to billionaire James Packer, told E! on Monday, she's not nervous about her wedding.
"This is number three, you know darling," she joked on the red carpet of NBCUniversal Upfront 2016.
Carey was previously married to record producer Tommy Mottola and actor/comedian Nick Cannon, with who she shares custody of five-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
