I'm going to be talking to you about ballet. Here are a few basic ballet pointers that
you should know when first starting pointe. First of all, you wanna make sure that the
pointe shoes you are wearing are fully fitted correctly. You wanna go to a professional
and make sure they size you for the correct width, and length of the pointe shoe. The
second pointer, is always make sure you do releves and warm up your feet before dancing
on pointe. This can be very important in strengthening your toes and your ankles as well as for center
work later on in class. The third pointer is don't use too much padding in your pointe
shoes. Enough padding that your shoes and toes don't hurt, but not enough that you can't
feel the floor. It's important to be able to feel the floor when you're dancing especially
when you're dancing.
